ABOUT
Combining her degree in architecture from Yale University with experience as an estimator and general contractor, Alysson Baker founded Baker pre-Construction Company in 1990, and we've been providing construction cost consulting and project management to Bay Area architects, contractors, and homeowners ever since.
We've generated accurate and detailed preliminary estimates for more than one thousand projects, including high-end residences designed by some of the Bay Area's best architects, as well as historic restorations, school facilities, libraries and city halls, and a range of commercial buildings.
Our practical understanding of the complexity of the construction and design processes - from project feasibility analysis through design-sensitive cost engineering to the punchlist - allows us to provide efficient and effective project management and owner representative service to help keep projects on time, on budget, and aesthetically intact.
Alysson prides herself on a fair-minded approach to insurance appraisals, working toward reasonable local reconstruction costs and consensus between both appraisers.
